It was only recently when I finally decided to start taking good care of my skin!
I know some of you are raising eyebrows in this statement. But this girl needs to be transparent with you! I’m not getting younger and I don’t want to look like a grandma when I turn 30 (soon). I totally feel that my skin is screaming and craving for the TLC it deserves.
Fast forward to this day, I challenged myself to do the 10-step Korean skincare routine, with high hopes that it will prevent my skin from aging fast. And I couldn’t be happier when I received a skin care box from Beauty Korea Dubai.
One of the products that caught my attention was the ISNTREE C-Niacin Toning Ampoule. An ampoule is a “supercharged serum” with higher concentrations of active ingredients. Most of the ampoules in the market come in a small bottle. But worry not, you just need a drop or two to head on with your skin routine.
After 10 seconds of being giddy of the product, I suddenly asked myself, “so this has Vitamin C and Niacin, but what can they do to my skin?” So before letting this baby touch my poor skin, I did a little research.
I’m pretty sure we are all aware of that Vitamin C is essential for the growth and repair of tissues in our body.
Living in a country like the United Arab Emirates, we are highly exposed to the heat of the sun. Vitamin C has a potent antioxidant that protects our skin from ultraviolet radiation and sunlight exposure.
Aside from sun protection, it is used to replace the damaged tissue and helps in improving the skin elasticity. Vitamin C is also necessary for collagen production and maintenance. Collagen rejuvenates the skin, thus reducing wrinkles and any symptoms of aging.
Niacin may sound unfamiliar to most of us, but it is just another term for Vitamin B3.
And apparently, from what I have researched, this ingredient is present in our skin and hair products. It helps to speed up cell metabolism and cell turnover which helps in slowing down skin aging.
Niacin, like Vitamin C, can help in healing wounds and repair sun damage and hyperpigmentation. It keeps our skin healthier and younger since it also essential in reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and acne.
According to research, ‘regular consumption of niacinamide helps increase the moisture balance of the skin.’
With this information in mind, I can’t help but be excited to start my journey to a healthier skin. Definitely adding this ampoule (packed with Vitamin C and Niacin) to my regimen.
I am optimistic that in the following weeks I can see difference and improvement on my skin. And that being said, if you want to join me in this quest for a younger and healthy skin feel free to comment down below. Share me some of your secrets and I’ll definitely share mine 🙂
